RECAP: In November 2010, I participated in the 30 Characters Challenge and created 35 new characters. In December, I gave them all away (for the most part). I decided that one of my projects in 2011 would be to add to that list of 35 and, by December 2011, create 100 new characters total. Every Monday, I will post a new character. This is the twenty-second:

War Horse (by Greg Giordano)
Last week (and the week before), I said I would start posting characters that are actually attached to a story I’m working on. What you’re looking at here is the first character from a new project I’m developing called Casino Criminale. CC is about a lot of things that to truly describe in detail would spoil the whole project. A lot of the idea is right there in the name, and I don’t want to spoil this story that is still, technically, in development. War Horse (Jack Pierce) is a World War 2 hero who goes to work for the CIA after the war. He gets wind of something going down in Las Vegas that doesn’t sit well with him, so he puts a group of Golden Age heroes back together for one last team-up.
And I couldn’t have done this without Greg Giordano. Greg has agreed to design all of the characters for CC, so if you’re a fan of his art (and you should be), come back for the next few weeks!
As I reveal more of the characters, I’m sure I’ll reveal more of the background for Casino Criminale, so I hope you’ll join me again next Monday.
ARTISTS – If you’d like to take a swing at drawing War Horse (daily sketch, etc), let me know so I can post your art here on the site!
