This is the first of EIGHT NEW NEVER SEEN BEFORE PAGES! Yeah, that’s a lot of capital letters, but this is an exciting prospect!

So, why are we doing this? Seems a lot of folks have told us that they never saw the Free Comic Book Day edition of FCHS or, even worse, that their local comic shop didn’t carry the book. What Rachel and I decided to do (with gentle prodding by our friend, Steve Saffel) was to offer for free an exclusive comic that will one, introduce those that are unfamiliar to FCHS to our characters, and two, for those that are familiar, offer some backstory to what they’ve read already. There is still another big announcement coming tonight/tomorrow morning that will more or less change a lot of what you’re expecting out of FCHS.

So, here’s your mission:

1. Read the new strip here (or on Facebook).
2. Tell all your friends. Retweet (I’m http://www.twitter.com/incogvito), repost, and get the word out there.
3. Pre-order your copy of FCHS from your local comic shop. The information is there in the gutters, but just in case, here is a handy order form we made you. This is possibly the most important step in your mission because, as you may know, Rachel and I work in a comic store. We want to drive business back to the direct market shops. This takes people willing to seek them out.
4. Keep talking about FCHS. Word of mouth is the biggest thing we can ask for in a grassroots/viral marketing initiative.
