Do freelancers have to pay taxes in your world cause if not I am totally game. Seriously, though, as an artist, being a writer in the comic industry is so difficult, mainly because you have to deal with us artists. I get a minimum of ten writers a week wanting to collaborate on projects (on spec) and I can’t accept the jobs, which is heartbreaking for me because who knows what story I am saying no to? What genius I have not done my part to help nurture to a higher level in this industry, and just as importantly, for you, these are names I don’t see again. However, that is not the case with you. You are a talented writer and your efforts have broken the skin of the comics industry; published by DC is no small feat. You’ve come a lot farther than most have writing in comics and I think it’s only the beginning.
You have stories to tell and clearly a world to welcome us to: and I can’t wait to find out what’s next.
